Congrats! That is amazing. I would love to work for the VA, I was wondering if you have your ADN or BSN. I will have my ADN next year and am wonderig what they prefer. Congrats again!

ongratulations on your job with the VA! That's amazing and I hope to also work there some day. I've heard that it takes a while for them to process an application. How long did it take from the initial application until you were interviewed/hired? I'm a vet myself and definitely want to look into this when I graduate from school. Again, congrats on both the baby and the job and I'm very happy for you.

It took forever!! I had to call the graduate admission people multiple times to see if they had gotten my stuff and eventually had to go up there in person. After that it took about a month and a half.

@serenitylove14 Geesh.. The Graduate School deadline is July 1 and nursing school is July 15. I have sent everything in I will call up there tomorrow and check. So do they send acceptance letters out before deadline? School starts Aug 24

No. They waited to send my information to the school of nursing after the deadline. So I didn't get any info until atleast 2-3 weeks after deadline.

I'm probably gonna drive up there Thursday. B/C I called the Grad school today and have for the past two weeks and the receptionist keeps saying " I probably got it but we have a lot of mail." I wanted to go off!! I'm like ma'am my life depends on this!! So she told me to call back tomorrow. If I get the same message, I'm gonna hand deliver everything.
