Congratulations!! You must be so proud of yourself. It must be wonderful to hear such positive things from patients and your co-workers.
It is also great to hear such a positive story coming from a new grad....good luck to you!!!!

Hi!
I was an 8-hours evening shift nurse, now a happy 12 hours night shift nurse. I LOVE to work nights, and I really thought I was NOT a night girl. I sleep like a baby all day, most days, and I have no issues staying up all night. Nights are usually a little more calm on a surgical floor, not so much in OB though, but I still like it. There is more team work on nights (I've done all 3 shifts), and no docs!!! Less stress overall!

I have a feeling this will be me too. Nights are calling, as I usually go to bed around 4am and get up at noon anyways.

I did nights for 12 years, I liked it also at one time. Always good to hear someone satisfied with their job.

I have been reading so many posts and it was very refreshing to read such a positive blog. I am thinking of going into nursing and leave my current profession. I have been reading so many reasons why people hate nursing that it was nice to read why you love it!
Thanks.
