    What spot did she take from someone? It was an unusual situation, and they adapted the curriculum that was required and allowed her to finish the BSN online.

    It's not like she's going to be going out there taking jobs away from younger new grads.

    Most schools have x number of spots allotted for mature students. I'm sure she didn't "take" a spot away from someone else. And she would have paid her tuition just like everyone else. Good on her.

    If they needed it more than they should have had better grades or other qualifications that made their application better than hers!
