TCU distance option

We might be relocating due to my husband's job to Tulsa, OK. Of course, OK doesn't have ANY CRNA schools. Uggh! I was just about to send in my app at UNCC when we found out, so now I probably have to wait another year. Thought about staying here for 2 years, but don't know how doable that is.

Anyway, I just found out about the distance option at TCU where you spend the 1st semester in TX, then can go to a hospital in Tulsa for the remainder, exept maybe a few rotations. Has anyone done this or known someone that has? The problem will be that I will be working in a new hospital and my references won't know me for even a year.

Thanks in advance for any responses!

Yes, I know a couple of people that have. Send me a PM and I'll tell you about it.

Please Oklahoma people, let's not forget that there are 2-3 schools in Kansas City as well to consider!!! TCU is not the end all of your options..............The tuition is very high for having to do everything from a distance and not have that interaction with your professors, etc. I am graduating from TCU soon and was at the school for didactic, yet in California for clinicals!! I cannot begin to explain to you how much easier my life would have been had I taken a clinical site in Fort Worth, TX......Just my 2 cents......
