TCU CRNA program for January 2015

Applied to TCU's Nurse Anesthesia program to start January 2015. Thought it would be interesting to see what people's progress/updates are these next couple months, and any advise someone may have to offer. Let the wait begin....

Well, this is just a general advice: You still have time before you get BSN. Don't limit your ICU time only to 2 years. You should be feel fairly comfortable taking care of variety of sick patients with different skills when you apply. In a meanwhile, prepare yourself by re-taking any class you didn't do well and get a decent GRE score. You can of course make a cut as a mediocre or meeting the bare minimum requirement, but you really want to stand out in a candidate pool to be accepted. If you have any school in mind, go visit, ask many questions and have them remember you that you are very eager to try. Last not at least, start shadowing once you start your ICU time. Good luck.

Fellow TCU CRNA students starting Jan 2015: Search for and join the TCU CRNA 2015 group on Facebook. Message me if you have trouble requesting to join!

It says cannot find group....

Sorry about that, it might be easier if you friend request me and then I can send an invite. My name is Maggie Elizabeth and I live in Dallas. Let me know if that still doesn't work.
