App deadline was April 1st. Any one received a letter yet?

Jojieblue, I know you'll be accepted to at least one or more universities than you're hoping for. You definitely have all the qualifications desirable by any of these universities, but like what you said it's quite intriguing how SMU selected the applicants. You should pursue your dream of attending medical school, you're not far from that dream.....reach it. Will keep you posted, I plan to apply to 2 more schools. Wish you all the best in your endeavors!!!!

I received my acceptance letter to Univ of Miami today. I will be starting in Aug. this year. Good luck again to all of you!!! Do not give up!!!

I have been watching this forum for awhile and now am curious because I have not heard anything! I too have applied to Saint Mary's University but I'm still waiting for a response from the school. I hope this is a good thing!! Has anyone received and invitation for an interview yet?? I have been obsessively checking the mail everyday...the waiting process and not knowing is so nerve-wracking! Sorry to those of you who were turned down that is hard to not become frustrated :confused:. I too have been turned down from a couple others but keep your chin up and keep trying!

Congrats!!!! I told you that you will be accepted to one of the universities you applied to. UM is better than SMU anyway & Florida is the best place to be. Take care & hope to hear from you while you're in the program to tell us about it.

I am so happy to hear that. I am applying there next year! I knew one of would get accepted. I am still waiting

Umm. dude where have you been that last few months. maybe you should have spoken up instead of lurching. The recent people on this forum have not heard positive things from this school.....

kukana;;;; gee shucks! thank you. this process has been nerve wracking. years of giving up so many things to pursue this.

i have put off getting married, vacations, having children all that stuff just for this. i also applied to duke, univ of miami (for next year), albany medical college and now I am adding samuel merritt. good luck everyone.

I know me too! I am trying to be hopeful that this is a good thing. I'm just glad to hear I'm not the only one still waiting. I was worried they forgot about me :). I would think we should hear something this week, I'm going to call tomorrow if the mailbox is still empty.
