Hey crnasouthwannabe, Congrats on your acceptance thats awesome! Looks like we'll be classmates. I'm from OH so I'm going through the same type of thing with housing as you are. If you find anything good let me know. To Sniffum35, they gave us about a month to respond and accept the spot I believe. Hang in there, I'm sure you will get a spot and being waitlisted is a huge accomplishment in itself!

Sniffum35, what number on the list are you? I'm #4.
Anesthesiabum26. Ive been looking at some places close to campus. Ive been using myapartmentmaps.com you can put in st marys university minneapolis campus and then for stuff by distance from campus. It has been pretty handy. But I imagine a lot of that stuff wont be available when I actually move up there.

I been trying to look around the area also. I'm planning on renting a house, that way the kids have somewhere to play. It's hard right now though because like crnasouthwannabe said, a lot of the housing that we see available now, won't be available come time to move. I'm coming from Oregon btw.
U RN ICU, I'm number one and unfortunately haven't heard anything yet. I'll keep you posted if I do.

Hey everyone! Congrats to those of you that are accepted and on the waitlist for 2013. I'm also on the waitlist (#9...ugh!). Anyone have an idea of when waitlisted people in the past were notified? Keeping my fingers crossed that they get to me.

Yea I've already started the housing search actually. I'm going out there in Oct to check out the places and find the one I like. If I have to pay for a couple extra months rent to secure it then I will do just that, I can't risk living in a van down by the river for 2.5 years.
crnasouthwannabe, thank you for the apartment search tip, myapartments.com has been a big help with identifying different places close to campus. Your right though about availability, it may be difficult to find a place we like in the right time frame but lets hope for the best. Have you found any places close to campus that were nice? Da_Milk_of_Amnesia, sounds like a good plan. Enjoy your trip out to Minneapolis, I'll be heading that way in early November to visit the campus and look at housing as well. I also do not want to be living in a van down by the river while in school haha. Where are you coming from?
Im actually coming from NY, just outside the the lovely NYC, where I work.
Quick question, has anybody got their RN licensure for MN and WI yet? I was thinking about waiting till the first of the year.
