SIUE CRNA Interview for Spring 2011 Admission

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

I was wondering if anyone else had applied to SIUE CRNA (Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville) program for the Spring 2011 term. Has anyone received an interview letter? I know interviews will be held September 10, but wanted to see if anyone knew any more about the admission process, what to expect or anything about the program that might be helpdful. Any advice from current students would help as well. Thanks!

Chrsbr,

You need to decide which program is your number one choice. Does the school in Minnesota require you to pay a deposit? If so, if i was you i would go ahead and pay it as its hard to get to crna schools! You don't want to regret later...Then if people drop out of SIUE and they happen to call you, you can forget about Minnesota and attend SIUE if that was your first choice of schools. You'll just just have to lose the deposit. A lot of people do that. I wish you all the best in your decision.

Got my acceptance letter on Saturday. I was also accepted to a school in MN, but SIUE was my top choice... a lot to do until May... congratulations to everyone!

Congrats!!!!

To those of you that got in... when do you have to remit a deposit to hold your spot?

stlrngrl: A 200$ cashiers check is due around Oct 22.... then the rest, $300, is due around the 17th of November.

thanks ...

Got an interview coming up at another school.....anyone care to share some of the questions that you was asked in yours...;??? thanks for the help

I know this is an older thread, but I have an interview with SIU-E for their CRNA Program at the end of this week and I wondered if any of you had an idea of what I should expect? Such as questions asked, types of interview, what the writing portion was on, etc.

Thanks!

Dear kdrn07, BSN,

How did your interview go 2 years ago? I have applied to SIUE this year and hope to get in. I was wondering if you had any tips?

Thank you
