Part time ICU

  1. Is is possible to get into CRNA school with part time ICU experience. At the time I would apply, I would have roughly 2 years of part time ICU experience. Is this adequate to fullfill admission requirements? Thank you for any responses.

Anesthesia school is very competative. Most schools have at least 3 applicants for every spot, mine had seven people for each spot. If you think you can stand out as an applicant when the others in your cohort are spending full time hours and have the same or better grades than you, then sure part time is OK. Usually though it is not enough. The adcoms are always looking for people that can handle the workload. For example, I finished my bachelors degree in a year while working a full time job and all the responsibilities of a family. I am sure that came into play in the little dark room where they conjure up class admissions.
BTW- to literally answer your question- it is possible, just not probable, that you can be admitted working only part-time.

    Ready,
WOW! What kind of program was that for your bacehlors? Most schools require 126 hours to get a degree. Is that even possible in one year?! Did you ever sleep?
I don't know how you could have slept, much less work full time!
    Holy smokes!
We need more info on this!
