Overwhelmed! Help!

Students SRNA

I'm finishing up my second semester of crna school and am feeling overwhelmed...lost.

I am receiving positive reviews in clinicals, averaging an A- in all my anesthesia courses but am doing poorly in my physiology class (C+/B-). I participate in a study group, have used a tutor and used a variety of practice questions. I understand the concepts and am able to apply them in my anesthesia courses (as noted by A-/As on exams) but am not pulling through in this course. I have used all the suggestions my advisor suggested...I'm studying day and night for this class and by no means am I a slacker...

My program's faculty has the tendency to pick on students that are not doing very well...

Though I've shown through clinical and anesthesia courses that I am doing well, I feel like I'm always walking on thin ice.

In my entire lifetime, I have never had so much difficulty with a class nor an administration...

Hang in there! Don't give up! Remember, you have worked so hard in your life to get to where you are now and there isn't a slight reason to give up now. You began this path that you've worked hard on years and it would be pointless to stop.

I remember back in nursing school, I never got the best grades ever and I was usually the "class idiot" since I came with such a competitive yet supportive class full of smart people. I didn't give up and I ended up finishing nursing school. Something I thought that I couldn't do. I know the times are tough but remember to hang on tight and brace yourself after the storm.
