Our lady of Lourdes anesthesia program

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

I just got accepted into our lady of lourdes nurse anesthesia program for Spring 2011 and I was wondering if anyone on here is in my class!!!!!

Thanks Joysa!! :) Congratulations on getting an interview with OLLMC!! I do not know of how many seats they have filled thus far. Posts thats I've read from the last 2-3 years prior indicate that they do have waiting lists, I guess just in case somone who is accepted decides to not accept the offer then they can offer someone else that spot. I assume it would be the same this year but I do not know for sure. As for the interview, just relax, be yourself, and let your personality shine throughout. I can't promise you that they won't ask you any clinical questions because everyone's interview is different. For the interview and exam, I would just brush up on CCRN materials, ACLS protocols, etc just in case. Do you have your CCRN by the way? The exam does cover some chemistry (that part of it is either you know it or you don't). Don't freak out, you will be just fine. The faculty is really nice and do not set out to intimidate you. Good luck and keep us posted!! ;)

Hi Ms B,

Hoping to get some advice about the interview/ science exam.

Thanks !

Hey all! I'm trying to bring this thread back :D I have an interview August 21 and thank you guys so much for the information in here. It sounds like the interview is more getting to know the applicant than roasting them over clinical stuff. Is this right?

Hi everyone! I have an interview in September as well and would love a little bit of info on the interview and science test. I was told to expect to be there for 2-3 hours on that day, but not told much else. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!

I am also interviewing there but at the beginning of September. I was wondering if you have been able to find out any more about the interview process!

Hello everyone, I am kind of surprised, I applied and have not heard anything, my application on website just says under review, starting to get a little concerned :/

I would contact 's graduate program for an update as long as it's been long enough since you submitted. When did you submit? My app was complete before the start of the application period or close to it in June *if I remember correctly.*

I sent my application around the same time :/, i just sent an email to

Specializes in CCU, MICU, and GMF Liver.

In the mean time I would start putting out more applications.

Oh definitely, I just nervously check my email everyday

Have you applied anywhere else in the area? I got turned down from myself. When asked why, I was given an email saying they're very competitive and had to turn away many nurses that would make great CRNAs. I knew it would be tough going in anyway so my hopes weren't so high.

not in the area, ive applied mostly out of state, for same reasons, highly competitive
