Online CRNA

I did a search, but nothing recent came up. I am currently planning on going back to school to get my Masters, and am trying to decide if I should do a FNP etc. Just wondering if there are any online or hybrid online CRNA programs. I know the nearest program to me is in Spokane WA, but I don't really want to move.

SRNA15 I sent you a friend request hoping we could PM that way.

I grew up 11 miles from Bloomsburg so I am familiar with the area. It is a very rural place and there isn't much to do. I know some people that have rented half-double houses for $425/month within walking distance to Geisinger med center. I wil ask them how they found the listings and get back to you on that.

You are not required to be on campus the first semester so I would suggest staying in Texas :-)

As far as the program....I am actually switching schools because I am so highly disappointed. If we are unable to pm, I will post on here why, but I'll wait until then to expand on that subject :-)

That doesn't sound encouraging. I actually turned down another program closer to home because I liked the small class size offered by the program. I don't know how to use this site so if the PM doesn't work you can send me an email if you don't want to post your reasoning on here.

When you switch schools do you have to start from the beginning? Anyways thanks again.

So I am applying to schools now. I have an interview with Bloomsburg this next month. How have you liked the program? Pros/Cons? What was the interview like. Any help would be great! THank you

I think they are referring to the graduation year not the year they start. My program did the same thing we started in 2007 but referred to as the 2009 class.

Hey srna_lrf I am just curious if you are attending Bloomsburg University. I received another offer close to my home town after accepting the position at Bloomsburg and I could not pass it up. Plus I will be finished in 2014 now so the cheaper tuition rate in Pennsylvania didn't matter in comparison to being employed as a CRNA for 6 months before the original graduation date. Anyways I was just curious. Good luck!
