I wasn't at the open house, wasn't able to come. I remember the email for the Thursday interviews but for some reason I was thinking it was next week. I didnt look too much into the email since I had already purchased my flight and reserved a car/hotel.

I feel like I haven't been studying as much as I should be. I am so terrified but I've been trying to study on my days off and just learn as much as I can at work. Praying for Gods will.

You will do great! Don't stress (easier said than done) and try to be confident in yourself! I started working nightshift again and it's definitely been interfering with my ability to study the past few weeks! Just apply all the knowledge you have learned as an ICU nurse..I don't think they expect us to know everything!

Good Luck Everyone! I haven't studied like I should because of work but I'll arrive in Nashville Saturday and cram Sunday and Monday. I just had the CCRN so I'm hoping that information comes in handy. I've been focusing on drugs and vent settings mostly.

We were told at the prospective students open house day that there are all new scenarios this year . I interviewed in January and had a urosepsis pt.
So you've interviewed before? How was it going in front of the panel? And the personal interview?

Hopefully we all get to meet each other someday! Yeah

Last year, the first interview was with 2 people and was a personal interview, like why mtsa and why you want to be a crna, etc. This year it was basically the same but with 4 people. The panel interview was the same. You present your patient in front of like 8-10 people and they ask questions based on your scenario and also piggy back off of each others' questions. I fell like the interview went well. Pam said we will get a call a week from Monday (9/25) if we are accepted, and if not an email the following day.

I am sure you killed it!! Hopefully you’ll be getting a c phone call next week. So other than 4 people at the first interview, any other major differences?

Hey Everyone! How did everyone's interviews go?! I felt like the interviews were a little rushed (5-10 min per section) and I personally got a little nervous during my interviews so I think things could go either way! Absolutely no questions about monitors or ventilators which they said would be stressed during the clinical portion! Good luck to everyone!!!

I felt the same way, super rushed. I guess that can be a good or a bad thing, but I felt like I couldn’t express my knowledge on the clinical scenario. I also spoke with Jim and he said they had around 170 applications and interviewed around 115-120. Good luck to all and hope you get that call on Monday
