Nursing Students SRNA

Hey all? Again, another question to the current CRNA's, SRNA's, and SRNA's-to-be. Aside from being overly obsessed with the world of anesthesia, I have found myself gravitating to the world of travel nursing. first, let me say that nursing in general offers sooo many options its ridiculous! how can anyone take it all in!!!!! haha, but anyways, if one were to have, a year of ICU (taking care of the pre-req for CRNA school) and maybe another year of traveling, how would that look? or does it matter where u gain your experience? along with competitive grades and good GRE scores of course. any info would be appreciated! thanks!

Traveling experience would not hurt and might be a plus. I recommend it a year or two prior to CRNA school as it allows you to get out of debt and put bck money for school. I traveled 2 years prior to school and went from $18.50/hr staff RN to $50/hr Travel RN and able to be debt free with $45,000 in the bank for school. The other plus is seeing how other hospitals utilize meds treatments etc. Different equipment and what not.

Good Luck
