Duke CRNA FAll 2018

I have never started a thread before so here it goes!!! I have just applied to Duke CRNA program for Fall 2018 I would love to hear from others who are going through the same process.

I agree with Brooke. I was feeling pretty under the weather and found my stress was self-induced and mainly due to that and simply not having an idea of what to expect (this was also my first interview). The faculty at Duke was about as welcoming and reassuring as they could have been in what I see as an inherently stressful process. I think if I had the opportunity to do it over again, I would be a lot calmer and more focused. But I suppose that's part of the "fun"! lol

Has anyone contacted Duke to find out how many might be on the waitlist? Hoping some spots open up and some of us can get some good news once the due date is up to pay the deposit for a spot! :)

anyone come off the wait list yet?

same question

haven't heard anything yet over here...:banghead:

Nothing here either! For those accepted already, when were your deposits due to save your spot?

Dec. 4th.

In this case, assume that no one who gets accepted gives up the seat at this point, and so what we can do is just to wait until somebody chooses a cheaper or more favorable program and drop their spot at Duke.

I called last week and was told they wouldn't start contacting people from the wait list until January.

I got a call yesterday saying I've been taken off the waitlist.

If you don't mind me asking, what are your stats? And did they give you any other details about the waitlist? @GFlewRN

I don't care to post my stats publicly, but they are strong. They did not tell me anything about the waitlist except that they're pulling me from it if I accept. I also was accepted at another top 10 program so I have a decision to make, but my gut says Duke. Best of luck to everyone! I hope everyone gets in somewhere eventually.
