Hello,

I will be attending 's CRNA program in 2014. Has anyone decided on their housing option yet? I thought about moving into the dorms but parking is a major issue. I found a really nice luxury apartment called Edgewater but they are completely full. I am currently living in Maryland and will relocate to Philly around Nov/Dec 2013. I am up for doing the roommate thing but would really like to live somewhere nice and close to the school. Has any other students relocating to Philly decided on their housing? I am new to Philly and many people are saying to live close to Center City/Rittenhouse Square area. What are your thoughts?

Thanks

Hi just found out I got into for 2014. I am super excited. Do you plan taking pharmacology this fall? Please let me know via this medium or if there is any way to contact you, will be glad to.

congrats.

Hey SRNA4U,

I also suggest living in the Center City area. There are numerous apartments that are walking distance to the center city campus. For parking, its pricey but I suggest parking in a monthly lot if that is an option for you.

Right now I am taking Nurse 500 Issues in Cont. Healthcare and will be taking Nurse 502 Advance Ethics this fall. My plan is take pharmacology the semester before school start.

Hello, i got accepted tp 2014 class as well. Please can you pm me? I will be taking the issues class and pharmacology. Please do you consider this doable? How is the issues class? Will you consider it easy or time consuming? I work full time with a couple of kids. I need some guidiance please. If it will ruin my grade, I will have to take just one and take the other the following semester.

Thanks. Careergoal

I am starting this Jan. I am takeing all 7 classes before I start. Taking 2 at a time is doable but will be a lot of work. I strongly recommed taking as many as you can.

thanks. i think i will drop one atleast to get used to things. you start jan 2014? you will probably be in my class. which courses have u taken so far?

did u file for financial aid for this year or is better to wait? k

I start Jan 2013. I will have taken all of the available courses before I start

I start Jan 2014 in the Post-Master's option. I only have 3 courses that I need to take before the course starts in Jan 2014, which are Adv Pharm, Adv Physiology, and the Information Systems class. I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan and will be leaving here around March or June of 2013. I am planning to take Adv Pharm first during the summer of 2013 and will take Adv Physiology and the computer class during the Fall 2013 Quarter. My goal is to definitely have these 3 classes done before I start the program in Jan 2014.

I am separating from active duty in October 2013 and will switch over to the reserves while in the program and will plan to relocate to Philly around Oct/Nov time frame. I'm still searching for housing but it seems the really nice places are full. I'm adding my name to a few waiting lists in hope of getting something around the Fall.

I was supposed to start in the Jan 2013 class but the military denied my request to separate 6 months early so the school was nice enough to put me in the Jan 2014 class. Friends of mine, who are in the Jan 2013 class, have told me the Adv Pharm and Adv Physiology classes are not bad at all. I've seen the textbooks for those 2 courses and they seem like undergraduate nursing style books written in easy to understand language.

I am so excited to be in the program. Good luck to you all as you pursue your studies.

Just got an invitation for CRNA interview---Yay! Can you give some tips on what to expect for this interview?

Thanks
