CRNA program for international student?

Can an international student further his/her nursing degree in CRNA? I read in the international forum it mentions that they don't allow international students to do so because they won't be eligible to work after completion of the program. I just want to know how true is that.

They certainly can at my school, if they successfully apply after gaining the required education and experience prior to admission.

It's illegal to discriminate based on nationality.

Do consider that it would be hard to pay for NA school with no federal aid or loans (most non-residents ineligible unless you have a USC co-signer for loans).

In addition - will you be able to use the degree? I would love to do it, think it would be right up my alley. However I plan to return to Australia after working a few years here, and we do not have any CRNAs so I would be unable to work in the field. Therefore, it doesn't make sense for me to pursue that. I'm doing ACNP instead (we do have nurse practitioners).

USC is really expensive, even thought I have a co-signer to get a loan. I am thinking of getting into Kaiser and they are way cheaper.

I thought of doing ACNP, but I heard they are always overworked and underpaid. I don't know how true is that, but I am looking into that or CNS.
