Anyone applying to Drexel, Excela, Villanova, or Tornetta for 2013? - page 6

The only way I can find out which school have rolling admissions and do not require the requirements to apply is to call them? I am a New Graduate RN and I just want to know as much as possible to plan out. For schools that decide who get in 2 yrs in advance, that means I can apply now. I just do not see any chance of me getting interview. So when will be the best and earliest time to apply and have a chance to get interview?
    Thank you lot

If you have no experience than save your money and do not apply. Get some experience and when you hit that one year mark start applying. Most programs that have rolling admissions are usually interviewing for the program that starts about a year out so if you have 1 year experience you'll have 2 by the time it starts.

Also check to see what kind of experience the school recommends you have. Some programs give more value to different types of ICU experience.

I received an email from Drexel stating that I was selected for an invitation to interview along with the date for the interview. It was kind oif short notice since my schedule is out 2 months in advance so I had to do some switching around with co-workers to get that day off.

My interview with Tornetta School of Anesthesia is scheduled in May but they have me an option of April or May with 2 times, either a morning appt or an afternoon appt, which was nice since it gave me a 2 month window to plan for everything. They way I have it worked out now, I have my Villanova interview May 10 and my Tornetta interview on May 11th. Thay way I can just get a hotel for a night and stay over for the next interview.

From what I remember Drexel and Tornetta were both $65,000 for the entire program.

I wish everybody luck. Tonight I am refreshing up on my heart block recognition.
I know this is an old thread but.. How did your interview process with Frank J Tornetta go? I have an interview in a month or so and am interested in finding out more about it. Did you take a CCRN like test? What kind of questions did they ask you? Thanks for any help you may offer!
