I am in UNE Organic Chemistry II and am having troubles with the labs. My computer crashed after I took UNE Organic Chemistry I and everything was lost. I reuploaded the virtual chemlab software on my computer and now I am having issues with the rights. It says the rights are in use by another user, etc..... I was able to do the first lab because you didnt need the virtual chem lab, got 48 of out 50. I was also able to the do the lab you do in your own kitchen, 9 of 10. But I need help with the remaining lab, can anyone help out? I am scheduled to take the final next week and have already completed all of the chapter quizes.

Yes, I agree with the other posts. UNE Organic Chemistry is very difficult. Quiz and test questions do not reflect study material. Does anyone have any other tips to help. I'm freaking out. Please PM me if you have any helpful advise. [email protected]

Did he grade on a curve? I have about a 70 average and I am doing horribly on the practice tests. All that I am required to do is pass the class for transfer of credits.

Do the majority of CRNA programs require an organic chemistry course?
I took Organic Chemistry 1 and 2 during the fall 2007 and spring 2008 semesters as required courses for my first degree, but I'm afraid these classes may be too old by the time I'm ready to apply for CRNA programs (I still have one year to go before I graduate from my RN program). Does anyone know if most of the schools that require O. chem. also have "expiration dates" for the course?

Hi, I'm new to this site and don't know what pm means. But I'm also taking Organic Chem 1 at une. I'm freaking out a little bit about this final because it is 3/4 of your grade. Like many of the posts I've read on this forum, the textbook is useless, it doesn't help with the quizzes at all. I've had to use Khan academy and other sources just to understand the chapter quizzes. I have no idea how I'm supposed to prepare for this final exam. If anyone has taken the first semester of orgo and have any tips on how to study for it, it would be very much appreciated. Please email me at: [email protected]

Hi, like the user above, I also am having a very hard time and so stressed out and worried about the online UNE organic chem class that I am in. I am paying for a tutor now as well, and am trying to do anything I can to not have to enroll in another organic chemistry class in the spring (if I can even find one) since it will be cutting so close to my graduate school program. I need a C to enroll in school this spring, and would appreciate ANY study tips for the final exam. My email is [email protected]. Thank you!!!

I'm 2 modules from the end of UNE's organic chemistry 1. I have to say with dire vehemence. If you have any other choice. Do. Not. Take. This. Course. It is truly horrible at every turn. Index doesn't correlate with the book. The book is a copy of a pdf that is so faded that you can't read half the blue/reagent text. The questions do not match with the module. The quizzes are mismatched to the module and the professor uses them to make the student "think ahead" which translates to an automatic wrong answer because the modules are so difficult, dry, and slow that you stress on even the simplest questions let alone the "thought provoking" ones.
Someone stated that they were able to use online resources for the final, this is not currently allowed
The final exam consists of 82 multiple choice questions in a format similar to the ones you've seen throughout the course. These questions cover all fifteen modules. You will have four hours to complete this exam; the exam is open book. You may use your notes, including those saved on your computer, and textbook. You cannot use the Internet or any other communication device to consult with other individuals.

Does anyone have access to this review sheet that has been mentioned a few times on this thread?
I've taken graduate genetic courses that were easier than this course. I will never again take a course from this instructor.

I'm not a nurse, I'm a pre-med student that matriculates in 2015. I took this course and received an A; actually top 5% out of all students.
My two cents? Stop complaining and study harder. All through my undergraduate nurses complained about how difficult their classes were, while us pre-meds walked into higher level versions of your diluted courses.
Suck it up
