I mean more specifically I partied my first couple of years at college and it drove my GPA into the ground, like almost a 1.0. When I graduate with my BSN, I should have a 3.95 Nursing GPA, and a 4.0 science GPA. But my overall GPA is like a 2.98. So I ask the community, have any of you gotten into a program with less than a cumulative GPA of 3.0

Yep, I did the same thing and I got in this year to two programs. I mean I was in deeeeeep trouble after my first three years in school following engineering and partying. Our GPA's are sort of similar in respect to nursing and sciences. Get good experience in a CVICU/Recovery or ICU and make sure to get over the minimum score on the GRE/MAT. You will get interviews and you can explain yourself during the interviews. I received an interview to all 10 schools I applied to but only went on three interviews before being accepted to two of the schools. Good luck!!!

You might get more relevant answers if you changed the title of the thread. I'm a non typical RN (techie career 1st) but what you really want to know about is overcoming a low GPA from the past.
