Today, I received an acceptance letter to UC FNP program. So excited and nervous at the same time. I will be working full-time as a wound care nurse and as an Army reservist. I have 3 young kids also. I am hoping to be able to balance school, family, and work. Can't wait to start!!!

Congrats! I am applying for the spring semester! I hope you have a great experience!

I have applied for the fall as well and am curious to know how long your turnaround time was between completion of the app requirements and receipt of your acceptance? Best of luck in your program as I am certain you will succeed!

I am on track for graduation from UC FNP program this August. Pretty much the first year was all coursework and so I did work full time. Once your clinical s start up, I would consider dropping your hours to part time or per diem. Congrats on getting in and good luck!! ( ps look for preceptors as early as possible, that's one of most stressful parts of the program)
