Seattle U - APNI 2012

Nursing Students NP Students

Anyone already applying at Seattle U? Which track? I haven't finished my pre-req's, so I am probably not too competitive this year, but I am going to apply anyway. I am applying for the nurse-midwife track and my background is Microbiology (UW).

may, based on your interactions with grad admissions does it seem that AGNP faculty are still making admissions decisions? Or are they just behind in notifying candidates.

It's hard to say.. but judging by the fact that grad admissions said that I would be notified this week, I would assume that they are done making decisions. My best guess is that the AGNP stack is at the bottom of the pile in grad admissions :/

got it. Thanks, May. We shall see!

May, Justine, this is painful, but it seems like the trend right now. Although I got my interview invitation at the same time as everyone else did, I was one of the last people to get my AGNP interview date...so we must be sort of the last ones to know here...hopefully soon there will be good news for us all.

Have any of the guests reading received notifications about AGNP? If so please post!

FNP folks... anyone have the names and emails of some of the women who were interviewing? I want to ask a few more questions regarding the program. thank you in advance! x

could anyone tell me how much the RN year costs? do we have a sense of what sort of aid SU gives? do they have an endowment to provide grants to student? is tuition really only $539 or so per credit, and a full load 6 credits per quarter (that is so cheap compared to some programs)? need help navigating their website! thanks all :)

It's actually $622/credit now, and it's between 12-16 credits/quarter. For example, this upcoming spring quarter is 16 credits, which translates into $10,016.00. However, there are scholarships for a limited number of students. Grants are not formally given out, to my knowledge, by the university for graduate students, which you will be considered even during your RN (prelicensure) year. Most people afford the program through subsidized and unsubsidized federal loans.

Hey guys, just received my acceptance email for CNM!!!
