I have a 2.81 cGPA and am wondering if anyone knows of nurse practitioner programs that I would be eligible for. Thanks, Ryan

Yes, I have seen programs admit w/a 2.8 or above, can't remember names b/c I've looked at so many! Go to bestnursingdegree.com and you can look at the schools in your area or at any state in the US. Unfortunately, you're going to have to set aside several hours to look at each schools admissions requirements. But, it's def worth it, good luck :)

FYI- University of South Alabama has several online options and their min. GPA is 2.75

I've seen several programs that except GPAs as low as 2.7. I actually saw acceptance of 2.5 somewhere, can't remember where tho. A lot of programs I've seen have the standard 3.0 GPA requirement but will except you with a GRE/MAT test if you don't meet the requirement or will except you on a conditional/provisional basis that you maintain a certain GPA once in the program.

I went to the AANP website to find programs in the states I was interested in attending school. They provide information on each programs' tracks offered, level of entry, and if distance learning is offered from the program to help you narrow down your choices.

Hope this helps, good luck with your search.
