I am getting butterflies just thinking about sitting for the AANP test. I so wanna move the test date to July but I am sticking it to June so far.

Anyone feeling this way? I have become insomniac lately which doesn't help either LOL.

I'm taking the PNCB (PNP-Primary Care), but I'm feeling the same way! June 30th is my test date and now that I've made the appointment I'm super nervous! I figure I'll feel nervous whatever day I take it no matter if I move it back or not, so I'm just sticking to my study schedule and test date and see how it goes...

Good luck to everyone!

Good luck Jennifer.

Only 17 days left for me. Honestly, the more I study the more I feel like I don't know anything. Anyone doing Hollier question bank online?

Hi All!

I graduated May 13th and took the AANP exam on the 24th and passed! I'm a bite the bullet kind of gal. I took the Fitzgerald review course and studied her actual book front to back for four days before the exam non stop. You all know this stuff, just trust your gut! Good luck!

I will be sitting for the AANP FNP exam on June 20th. I went to a live Fitzgerald review at the end of April. I've also used Fitzgerald's CDs at home, been studying Fitzgerald and Leik and took one APEA exam, scoring 74%. Ready or not.

I think 74% on APEA is very good. You're ready. I've heard her test is harder than the actual exam.

I am getting 63-68% on Zerwekh CD. No one seems to use Zerwekh these days because it is old edition from 2004. I don't know if that is good enough. If anyone who used Zerwekh let me know where I stand. Do I have a chance to pass??

Some days I feel like I just need to go and give the test. I know this stuff. Yet, some days I get this feeling what if I fail..I need to postpone. Uugghhh, this phase is not easy.

I agree. I think at some point, we just have to toughen up and go for it. I have considered postponing numerous times, but I know that will just cause more anxiety and for longer. I'm going for it on Wednesday. Win or lose, at least I'll know. Worst case scenario, I get 6 more weeks to study and will kick it's ass next time. Right? .... Right? :)

I am sure you will pass. Best of luck on Wednesday. In a way it makes sense even if one fails...at least we'll know how the exam will be. The thing is, I know myself and I will be traumatized.. LOL..It will take a long time for me to pick myself and start studying immediately. So, I rather pass on my first try than try multiple times. With that said, I postponed the exam date and I hate myself in a way because I have no life right now. All I do is study. But, I'll keep plugging in for 2 more weeks.

I don't blame you at all. I TRULY understand. I came SO close many times and just couldn't do it. I have a job lined up and they asked my test date about 3 weeks ago, so that pressure helped me stay on the same date. I just took the AANP practice test. I hate to say I paid the $50, but I needed some reassurance and I felt like that was the best way for me to get it. I got an 85%! I'm thrilled. Best score I've gotten on anything so far.

Keep us updated and I'll let you know how it goes and what resources seem best whether I pass or not!
