Hunter College Adult NP Program Suspended?

Hello all,

I know that Hunter College Adult NP program was on hold until the end of 2011, but today I saw "SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY". Does anyone have the scoop on this? Please do share, thanks :)

From what I know 2 reasons.

1. New DNP program soon to be opened.

2. Lack of available faculty to teach all the programs.

I remember reading somewhere that on this forum that ANP certification will be combined with GNP.
