I'm wondering if anyone has any insight to share on pnp programs in the philly area. I am most interested in Villanova and . At Villanova, are any courses offered online? If so how many? How flexible are class schedules?

I work full time and I live about 40 minutes outside philly in nj.

Any info or opinion is appreciated. Thanks!

I'm doing the program...just started. I am thrilled with drexel so far. I feel like an individual and not a number.

Thanks for your response! Im a little weary of the all online aspect. I have taken classes online before but im not sure how an entire program would be. Do you feel like you get the attention you need? Do you have all of your q uestions answered? It would be convienient and is a great name.

Also..how do u feel about the coorifice load so far? Do you work ft?

Sorry about all the questions..id just love to get an inside perspective! Thx!

I feel like my instructors have been very approachable. They answered every question I had. I struggled with a class and that instructor was a huge help and wanted to help me succeed.

The course load...I am okay with it. It's work but doable. Right now I do two 12 1/2 hour night shifts each week. I cut back from 3 shifts because if school. Now...I have 5 kids ages 16, 13, 11, 9 and 2. The 9 year old has CP and EDS and is tube fed. My 13 year old has EDS and tube fed. My 11 year old is autistic. We have a lot if appointments. So with the kid's issues I really needed my shifts to decrease. My 2 year old is also still breastfed so very much relies on me...and just slept through the night for the first time last week. My husband works full time and is getting his RN. I have a lot on my plate so only 2 shifts a week is more reasonable for me. If I didn't have all these kids and medical issues...I could probably do the 3 12s again.

Holy cow busy lady! I think is my first choice..it would make life the easiest. Now I just need to get in!

Thanks for the info! Its great to get an insider impression. Good luck with all your juggling!

Nova does have some core classes online but the majority are on campus and there is one class held at children's hospital every semester. the classes aren't that flexible they are on set days and haven't changed in years. But the teachers are very flexible and will work with you.

Pedsnp, how do you like thw program? Can you tell me theings u like most and least? Also..where have your clinicals been? I have been talking with admissions and the program coordinator, and I have gotten a really good impression so far. Would u recommend it?
