I am having an extremely difficult time finding a Nurse Practitioner preceptor for an Adult rotation in Family/Internal Medicine. I need a preceptor for Oct-Dec and need to complete 185 hours in 9 weeks. I have tried the NP finder site, with no luck. I have contacted the local APRN association, and still no luck. I have tried numerous NP's around the area and they either have a student, or are not accepting students. I am willing to travel some. Does anyone have any other suggestions? There are two other large universities in my area that have online NP programs and even their students are having a hard time securing preceptors from what I have been told. Any help is greatly appreciated!
