Thank you, ear! What a wonderful support team! I do remember you but can't recall if you're FNP or what school. Best of luck with all you're juggling. I hope you weren't too uprooted by Sandy. I know I can do it. I'm going to register for 2 classes and drop one if I need to. I want to get through this with some semblance of sanity. Let me know how you're doing!

Mtsteelhorse, I know how you feel and going through right now. But the important thing to remember is the reasoning you are doing this. I know you have a supportive family and trust me, they will understand. Grad school is defintely time consuming and hard work. I have already cut down my work hours and also family time. I keep telling myself that a sacrifice is worth it for the success of being a FNP. Have cold feet but go get some socks cause the road ahead is one you can achieve

    The best to you !!!

Thank you for your kind words. I am so burned out from my BSN program I could cry. Yet I feel I should plod ahead nonetheless. My woulda, coulda, shouldas are all hindsight now. What an emotional roller coaster this is.

Working four days a week was doable for me, I usually took 2 or 3 classes per semester.

I'm doing a ped NP, I work 2 12hr shifts/ week, have 5 kids (throw in a bunch with special needs) and my husband works full time and in RN school.

I just finished my first quarter...it was rough but I did it.

If you want it...go for it. You won't regret doing it but you will probably regret not doing it

I'm not sure if I like quarters better. I was used to 8 week classes and now I'm doing 10 week classes...that extra 2 weeks feels like an eternity.
