Register Today!- Oct 10, '11 by elkoCongratulations wishful12 and EmtDD!
For those that are interested, I talked with MUSC today and there are 30 alternates. They are not ranked... so basically when a spot opens, they go back to the alternate applications. Good luck to all!

Thanks and congrats on your acceptance!!!
wooow...Your qualifications are absolutely AWESOME!!!
So, have you ever repaeted any course?
How did you calculated your Cumulative GPA?
I did not know MUCS accepts AS degrees for their Accelerated BSN program.
Also, you got awesome Back ground as an EMT. - Oct 13, '11 by EmtDDQuote from coolbsnThank you so much!EmtDD,

I have never repeated any courses, I actually never intended to go into nursing until after I completed my EMT certification. I went to community college for biology and ended up having all the prereqs completed, found MUSC and it was the perfect school for me. I calculated my cumulative GPA from my college transcripts. Also there are GPA calculators which you can google.
I am super excited, the only thing holding me back is taking out enough loans to pay! Good luck to you and if you have anymore questions or need advice feel free to contact me! - Oct 13, '11 by coolbsnThanks, EmtDD,
I agree with you it's very big money for out of state applicants $48.000+books+living expenses...etc=least $70.000. But, do not worry about the cost, because MUSC is great program and worth it !!!!
