Hey! I am doing my research ahead of time, just to prepare. My husband has found out that we might be relocated to Fort Jackson. I am a NICU Level III nurse with 3+ years of experience. Any ideas of hospitals I could check into? Also, does anyone know how much money I could expect to make? Thanks for any advice.

Welcome (possibly) to SC!!! My DH just retired from active last year!

There's 1 level III that I know of in Columbia and that's at Palmetto Health. http://www.palmettohealth.org/

As far as money goes I'm not sure of that. I'm a student so I can't tell you. I've

done my investigating about level III NICU's b/c that's what I want to do once I've finished school. There were a few openings last week...I checked to see what the outlook looks like.

Good luck!

Level 3 with a Stork ambulance at Palmetto Richland. They do ECMO. And they have 2 helicopters to access put of area babies with problems.

More regular babies are born at Palmetto Baptist or the NE satellite of Providence, Regular Providence does not do OB they do eyes and hearts mostly, and they also have a helicopter.

Lexington just across the rive on a nice side of town is a great place to work, Right on I-26 with I-20 about 2 miles beyond it. Lots a babies,
