New Nurse New State :/

Hi Im a new new LPN who just moved to the beaufort area because my husband is military and im in the process of filling out the paperwork to transfer my license which is a pain! I was wondering how long it takes to get my license and if it is worth getting a temporary license? Only a 10$ difference and if there were any part-time or prn jobs near me that any one knows of?? Id appreciate all the help I can get
