AWESOME! I bet that was a good feeling I'm already anxious to get my letter and it will be at least another 3 weeks. Hopefully I will be joining you in the spring!

Good luck to all of you! I graduate from MUSC in December and have enjoyed the program. You'll get a great education.

3.6 overall, my prereq GPA is largely incomplete because three of the courses are in progress, but I've taken Micro and A&P and got Bs in both. I volunteer at the Children's hospital but do not work in the medical field. I'm hoping that my background is different enough to make me stand out... I studied English and Biosci in college and have worked as a retail manager since graduating. My references are very strong and my essay is great, I just worry about the incomplete elements in my grade book. We will see! Congrats on your acceptance! I hope to join you

I also applied for MUSC accelerated BSN for Spring 2014, does anyone know when regular admission is supposed to find out about acceptance? Also I am an out of state student who goes to the College of Charleston currently, are my chances lower than in state?

I think you should find out acceptance status a couple weeks from now. I was told there were only 10 out of state slots in the program... So your chances could be lower in that regard.

I emailed them with a couple of questions regarding forms and she said they won't be available until after final decisions for the spring cohort were made.. That was Friday. Maybe decisions will be made this coming week?

I believe this week things will be decided. Not sure if they will answer about acceptance over the phone this week though. I have a question for any who have applied before and called to find out before letters were mailed - what information do they ask for? Is it a pretty quick conversation?

Also - If I had one last pre-req to take and I just finished it (fast forward) and got an A, should I contact anyone or just wait at this point?

I have no idea about my chances (I wish they had accepted students stats posted somewhere!) and am extremely anxious!

    Hey-
There are two other very long threads here with peoples' stats and whether they called ahead of time. Since you are so close to finding out about your acceptance, I wouldn't beat myself up reading other peoples' stats. I did that and all it did was make the wait that much more cruel and long, haha.

In my acceptance packet it said that all final transcripts are due the first week of school... I wouldn't worry about it right now, decisions are close to (if not already) being made. I did call them about priority applicants and their acceptance status and she told me that decisions were being mailed out the same day ... I was too chicken **** to ask over the phone, but got my letter two days after .

    My stats are
BS Biology 3.8 cum, 4.0 sci 4.0 pre reqs

I was rejected last cycle for lack of volunteer and/or work experience in the medical field. This time I had 100+ hours volunteering in the SCRUBS program at Bon Secours and 30+ hours volunteering for a hospice and I was accepted into the program. So don't think that the only thing that will get you accepted is good grades! When I got rejected on my first application people with 3.2-3.7's were accepted because they had some sort of experience in the medical field.

It wouldn't hurt to call the admissions office and see when they expect final decisions to be made! Good luck!

You can call and find out. It is a very quick conversation- they just ask your name. Just found out I am in for the Spring 2014 starting class (regular admissions). So excited! Good luck everyone!
