MUSC ABSN Fall 2013

I recently applied for priority admission to the Fall 2013 Accelerated Nursing Program at MUSC. I started this thread to makej contact with anyone else that may have applied priority or is planning on applying regular admission for Fall 2013. Anyone out there?

I haven't officially received my acceptance or anything, but I got an e-mail today from MUSC housing about upcoming Roommate Finder parties. Did everyone else receive this too? I hope this is a good sign!!

Hello, I didn't receive an email about housing, but I spoke with someone yesterday, and she said decisions were made. She stated that letters will go out today, or Monday. Good luck! :)

Hello, from my understanding she said applicants will be notified by mail. I was hoping I received it today, since I' m local, but still nothing. I'm just ready to know if I've been accepted, or rejected so it'll be one less school I can stop worrying about. Good luck! :)

I'm wondering if it was the same emails like the financial aid ones that were sent out a bit ago? I got one for that but did not get a roommate one- I'm also married and live in the area so that may be why. I hope they mailed out letters Friday so we can expect them today or tomorrow! But sounds like we should all know for sure by the end of this week. Good luck to everyone :)

I have applied twice before and not received an email from campus housing. I checked today and they are not done sending out letters yet.

Hello, I called today, and letters still were not mailed out. She said we should receive them by the end of the week, or early next week. I hope I hear something from MUSC, or Trident soon. I was doing the Scrubs mentor program at Roper St. Francis Hospital, and I always see nursing students from both schools, which makes me very excited.:) Hope we hear good news soon, and good luck to everyone.

Just checked my email at Trident Tech and was accepted for Fall 2013 Nursing program thru merit placement. yayyyyy!:)

@babygurl9706 Congrats!!!! I havent checked my email because they said it would take approx three weeks but now that i see you were notified im excited and nervous all at the same time. Do you plan on attending for the fall?

Congratz babygurl!!!! I got in for the fall as well! At this point all I know is that I will be in nursing school in the fall, I am just not certain about where.

@jnlaw Thanks! I thought it would have took three weeks also, but when I checked my email this afternoon they sent an email stating I was selected to start in August for Fall 2013, along with dates of my new mandatory meetings and etc. I'm planning on attending Trident's program and Charleston Southern University rn-bsn online if I don't get into MUSC. I just want to be in someone's nursing program this year.:) Good luck!
