    Hi I have interview tomorrow at NHC nursing home in Columbia, SC....I was wondering if anyone knows if it's a good nursing home to work at??? They also asked me to bring my social, CPR and ID. Does this mean they are hiring me on the spot..??? I am an LPN and they are hiring for PRN pool. I know nursing homes are notorius for doing that but the downfall is that you really have no idea what you are getting into until you start work!!! Please all comments are welcome!:redpinkhe

    Never worked there but NHC is a chain nursing home and the working conditions vary per facility. The pay should be better than most.

    A friend of mine got a job there as a RN who was brand new... she now has a full time job at a hospital and works there PRN. She said it's nice there.
