Steph:
The article was not about nurses who agree with the President.

It is about nurses who want Medicare available to all Americans. Second best would be for the "public option" to be the same healthcare provided to members of Congress.

Hi herring . . . I was talking about the title . . not the article itself or Obama in this particular post and should have been more clear.

Some of America's Registered nurses say this . . not all

Thanks.
It is not you. Many people react to what they perceive rather than what the article states.

Due to copyright we cannot post an entire article so I try to post a link.

I guess I'm frustrated because it has been assumed that I don't know the VA is government healthcare. It has been assumed that I'm OK with assisted suicide and denial of care in Oregon and against people with lung cancer choosing state of the art treatment.

It is probably not meant that way but it is hurtful even when the person assumes the worst is someone I've not met face to face.

You've been a supportive and understanding friend to us here on line.
Thank you

I know how you feel my friend.

I'm gonna get up and do something with these two boxes of pears someone gave me before they go bad. Let's both get up from the computer and do something more constructive!
