Re: Look Here to See What’s in the Health Care Bill
I am only going on what the news, media, and the health care bill say.
We can exchange links till the cows come home.
Guess, we will have to agree to disagree. | | Advertisement Sponsored Links | | | | No. 22 |

Re: Look Here to See What’s in the Health Care Bill
Which of the proposed consumer protections do you have a problem with?
" No Discrimination for Pre-Existing Conditions
Insurance companies will be prohibited from refusing you coverage because of your medical history.
No Exorbitant Out-of-Pocket Expenses, Deductibles or Co-Pays
Insurance companies will have to abide by yearly caps on how much they can charge for out-of-pocket expenses.
No Cost-Sharing for Preventive Care
Insurance companies must fully cover, without charge, regular checkups and tests that help you prevent illness, such as mammograms or eye and foot exams for diabetics.
No Dropping of Coverage for Seriously Ill
Insurance companies will be prohibited from dropping or watering down insurance coverage for those who become seriously ill.
No Gender Discrimination
Insurance companies will be prohibited from charging you more because of your gender.
No Annual or Lifetime Caps on Coverage
Insurance companies will be prevented from placing annual or lifetime caps on the coverage you receive.
Extended Coverage for Young Adults
Children would continue to be eligible for family coverage through the age of 26.
Guaranteed Insurance Renewal
Insurance companies will be required to renew any policy as long as the policyholder pays their premium in full. Insurance companies won't be allowed to refuse renewal because someone became sick." http://www.whitehouse.gov/health-ins...r-protections/ | | No. 23 |

Halfway down the page:
There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.
Hmm. Stalinist Russia, anyone?
Also, try redstate.com for another view on the health care situation.

They're trying to combat some of the misinformation and negative propoganda floating around out there about the reform proposals. How upset were you when the Shrub administration was operating a widespread, illegal program of monitoring Americans' telephone conversations and emails?

In my opinion, I love all of these you have listed, but they are quickly 'thrown to the side' when reading the 'bad' parts of the health care bill. (committe decides what benefits/trmt pt receives, rationed healthcare, physican services through medicaid to be cut (even more), gov't has access to your bank accts, restricted enrollment of special needs pt's, several stipulations on end of life care.............must I go on...........) It would be great to be able to come to a happy medium, but remember............................this is politics. | | No. 28 |

Now there's the rub , can any evidence be provided to show that the program was sucesful .Before you say it ,the lack of any other attacks is not proof , of the sucess of this program . Other countries have been victims of terrorism , they have not used these tactics and have been as sucessful as us , at stopping further attacks .
As to being at war , in all honesty I have hardly noticed ,If you look back to how our countries had to change during previous wars , we have done hardly anything .
