  5. Is it normal to doupt?
I think doubt is normal for everyone:). If your avatar is a real image of you, you might want to change that asap. You'll be surprised at employers, peers etc that can look you up.

  7. Nurses who believe in herbal nonsense, alternative medicine, anti vaccine etc

  8. Nurses who believe in herbal nonsense, alternative medicine, anti vaccine etc
What is wrong with reiki? My employer has reiki practiced on patients that request it. Keep in mind that we treat the patient holistically.

  9. Not enough tickets
Happens at the majority. My graduation only had 2 tickets - one college but 5 diplomas graduating together. I agree with the poster that said to have a dinner with everyone afterwards.

  10. LPN then BSN
Lpns are not being phased out. It has been a rumour for years. It would be a great wealth of knowledge to get it before your BSCN.

Only 2 weeks? Do you realize how much time and energy goes into orientation? I just hired one that left after a week. What a waste of time to even be entered into a payroll system.

  19. Is your DON allowed to pass meds?
135 Residents. Potential for more when full. It makes it a lot easier for me to be approached by my residents and for me to relate to my nursing staff.

I'm a DON. I work on the floor 3 days a week and pass meds. I do agree with the above poster though - we work a lot of hours that are not paid OT.
