  4. Can someone please correct my questions
Your logic leading to 10mg q3-4h seems correct based on the information you've given, although that question seems WAY out of line. My drug guide says that 10-30mg morphine PO q4h is appropriate for...

  5. How can I teach a patient to do priming a line?
I'm sure that the question is referring to the tubing. In the hospital, you would prime the IV line (tubing), even if you were going to connect it to a saline lock.

  7. Why would a patients respiratory rate be set at 28 on a mechanical ventilator?
The vent is not set at 28. It is set at 14. The vent allows the patient to breath spontaneously, which she is doing at a rate of 28.

  12. I *loved* my ED Rotation
Look for ED Tech positions. My ED often hires its techs when they graduate! Even if they don't hire you as a nurse when you graduate, the experience still looks good on a resume.

It's still an application whether you download it or the manufacturer does. However, it doesn't make a difference because it won't be allowed for you to use your personal device. Who's to say you...

  18. Placement hours- what is better?
Do the 12's! 6 hour shifts are unrealistic. When you graduate and get a job, it will probably have 12 hour shifts. You might as well start getting used to it now.
