    In my opinion the LPN will become a associates and the RN will become the BSN. Nursing really needs to streamline education if we are to be taking seriously and respected more.

    Retail settings like Walgreens, Walmart, and CVS. The health departments here use NPs. Also, many occupational health or college student health clinics.

    I am in a BSN to DNP program. Out of 40 people that began this cohort only 11 were left this summer. We are scheduled to graduate May 2015 but I'm not thinking 11 of us will be there.

  11. How long will it take to become a nurse practitioner?
    I'm in a BSN to DNP program and it is 3 years. Some schools offer it in 4 years. So total of 7-8 years depending on where you attend.
