    This may be a stupid question but I cannot find the answer. If a patient has a BKA can you start an IV on that same side, say the right leg is amputated, can you start an IV in the right arm?

    If the nurse recruiter is the only number you have, it wouldn't hurt to give them a call. At the very least you can ask him/her for the nurse educator and manager's phone numbers.
