Vision Machines

I going to splurge and by vision machines for my schools.
My question is what equipment do other schools use and how user friendly is it?

We have always used titmus, but I find that the manuel on is alot better then the automatic one, any other opinions?

Also slides????? My school district is K-12 so I was looking at the slides and you know what?
there is just to many, In Pa. we only have to do near and far acuity, color and depth at present. So any help with slides would be appriciated

Thanks,

Paula

I'll be honest with you... i have a titmus machine but really only use it if i see that there is a deficieny during the gross snellen chart screening or if i have a concern about near vision.
