The critters are baaack!


4 cases of headlice 2 days ago. We have an outdated no-nit policy in our district. After treatment & returning to school for a check... I will pick out the nits myself if there's 10 or fewer & let them return to school. Unfortunately they all still had MANY nits when they came in for their rechecks today.
I showed the parents what they are & how to remove them. I feel bad. I know they are doing all they can and I know our district's policy on the issue is outdated. Feel like I'm stuck between a rock & a hard place with this one.

I think it's gonna be a long winter!
