- Aug 13, '02 by WashYaHandsI don't have any students on O2, but because it is considered a med and requires a prescription and order, I would think that the parents/insurance would have to pay for it.
- Aug 17, '02 by HuganurseIn our district: Kids on cont O2 supply thier own. The medical equipment company delivers it to the school. If they have a trach and are on cont O2, they have a private duty nurse, who comes to school with them, and spends the day with the student providing thier nursing needs.
We also have emergency O2 tanks that are supplied by the district. But that is only for emergency use.
