Early dismissals and snow days!

In previous jobs, of course, there was no getting out for bad weather, and then there was the scramble to get childcare lined up or decide whether my husband or I was taking the day off.

Anyone else have a favorite perk?

Being able to drop my own kids off at school and pick them up after school (we aren't in the same district), Leaving my work at work, all the holidays and time off built into the year (though sometimes I feel like I can't take any time off that doesn't coincide with school calendar).

Definitely being at school with my daughter & having her stop by at lunch to give me a hug-only 1.5 more years of that, though!

Getting that "no school due to inclement weather" text and dancing with my daughter in the driveway.
