Need salary/benefits/union information UPSTATE NY School Nurses

  1. School nurses in my district in the teachers union (NYSUT) for about 10 years now but do not get any of the teacher benefits. We have different salary, different sick leave accrual, different longevity, no stipends for experience, advanced degree or certification. We feel like the odd relation thrown in a closet and forgotten.

I would love some salary and benefit figures from those in the upstate/central NY area as well as what union they are in and any advice you can give.

    Thank you in advance...

How about going to the New York board and also the School Nurse specialty board? I think that those two might be able to supply you with the most accurate of information. Good luck.
