I've figured it out!!

Specialties School

So, a few weeks ago I posted about looking for an abstinence program for my school. While we haven't settled on a specific program yet, I have to tell y'all, I think we accidentally created the best one ourselves!

We are a relatively small district (~715 students on 3 campuses) and my home campus just got Kinder this year (this is my favorite age group, but I do love my older kids too. It's been a great year so far!). Anywho, we have implemented a mentorship program with our 11th graders where they help with the Kinders.

Y'all. In my opinion, that is THE BEST form of birth control EVER. Our older crowd is very great with the little guys, but you can tell its a hard job for them to be responsible for helping them do everything they're supposed to do (reading, walking in line, following directions...etc. etc.). I've thoroughly enjoyed watching them interact with each other and I can tell that the older crew will definitely think twice before engaging in the "circle of life" dance! :roflmao::roflmao:

Happy Friday-Before-Thanksgiving-Break everyone!! :D

I have to agree that is a good life lesson for them! My 6th grade son buddies up with a kindergartner for reading once a week. He often comes in after school very exhausted and questioning me "How can you like those little people??" :)

I made my spending money while in high school babysitting. Best birth control ever.
