Can someone share with me a letter you use to notify parents/guardians of a chicken pox exposure (student with chick pox was in class a few days before being diagnosed)?

I have been in a high school sooooo long this would have been a RARE thing but now I work in a 6-12th grade...

THANKS A MILLION IN ADVANCE!!

It's been a few years since this happened at my school, but I contacted the CDC of my state and they gave me a form letter which I put on school letterhead and sent home.

Your local public health office may be able to help.

http://health.mo.gov/living/families/schoolhealth/pdf/Communicable_Disease.pdf Here is our Manual for Missouri. It is a great resource. This link will take you to the table of contents. On pages 31 and 32 it talks about Chicken Pox concern in relation to Pregnancy. On pages 84 and 85 its the parent letter/info. Good luck. Happy Monday!

THANK YOU!

Does your school have any google docs or such where they have these saved? Mine uses google docs and I can just go and find it, put my header and just send it.
