Starting Nursing School in January...NEIT.

U.S.A. Rhode Island

Looking for other students who will be starting the nursing program at New England Institute of Technology in January of 2013!?

Meeting with an admissions counselor this week are you all happy there? I know tuition is high, any financial assistance? Don't want to take $50,000 out in student loans.[/quote']

I actually love it. I've heard mixed reviews from other students but you can only get what you take out of it. They offer "optional" classes that will help in the long run (and they're not extra money) but people opt out of taking them and don't do well then blame the school (in my own opinion of course). As far as the price...it's very high but I learned a lot from talking to other students and I learned that joining a club or two and volunteering can get you tons of scholarships. I wish you the best of luck no matter what you choose...nursing school is quite the experience!
