New Graduate $$$

  1. 0 I am a sophomore at URI in the nursing program and am watching my loans pile up with every new semester. Does anyone know what new nursing grad salaries are like? How easy is it to get a job in Rhode Island as a new grad? Any info that you can give me would be great. I just want to know what I have to look forward to. Thanks.:uhoh21: :uhoh21:

what to expect we have heard is 21-22 an hour not including shift differentials. dont forget RI has a loan repayment plan with 0% interest which helps. Dont know if any hospitals have loan repayment programs but i have heard on here that some hospitals do. My plan is to live poor like I do now for 2 years and I will have all my loans paid off and a majority of my credit cards. Also if you work per diem for a side job they pay a lot more so if you do that 2-4 days a month use that $$ just to pay off your loans.
