Mandatory Overtime

  1. 0 I was wondering if anyone knew about the status of mandatory overtime for nurses and nursing assistants in RI. I work for a private duty home healthcare company as a CNA right now and although I like the job it just isn't the area of nursing I'm interested in so I am looking at hospital jobs. I currently work per diem and although it isn't easy to call out of a shift I am never forced to work mandatory overtime (although I might be asked if I can on occasion I won't face punishment if I refuse.) So if anyone has any information about that I am really curious about it.
